Language Course

In the bus, our lovely tour guide, Borcu,
taught us a few important phrases and numbers in Turkish.

Explanations of a few of the letters:
Cc= Je
Çç= Ch
Ff= Fe
Gg= Ge
Ğğ= no sound; just lengthens the vowel before
H= He
İi= Eu 
Şş= Sh
Üü= like the U in trUe
Yy= Ye
Zz= Ze

Merhaba= Hello        Nasılsın?= How are you? (formal)        iyiyim= I'm fine

teşekkür ederim= Thank you        Bir şey değil!= You're welcome        Günaydın= Good Morning 

İyi günler= Good day        Güle güle= bye bye        Hoşça kal= Goodbye

Evet= Yes        Hayır= No        Kaç Lira= How much ? (in Lira)

şerefe= Cheers        güzel= beautiful       Pahalı= expensive
